FramIQ Pro accessibility

Last updated: 5 October 2026

This page describes the accessibility features supported by the FramIQ Pro app on iPhone and iPad, the everyday tasks checked with each of them, and the alternatives provided where a feature does not apply. It complements the accessibility information on the App Store page.

Supported features

On iPhone and iPad:

  • VoiceOver. Every button, field and setting has a readable name. Errors and confirmations (code sent, session locked, invoice created…) are announced.
  • Voice Control. Every button can be triggered by saying its name.
  • Larger Text. Text follows the size chosen in the device settings, up to about 235% of the standard size, and screens rearrange to stay readable.
  • Dark Interface. The app follows the device's dark mode. The documents it produces, PDFs and invoices, stay light for printing.
  • Differentiate Without Color Alone. No information relies on color alone: every state also has a text or a symbol.
  • Sufficient Contrast. Text and symbols meet the recommended contrast ratios (4.5:1 for body text, 3:1 for large text and symbols), in light and dark mode.
  • Reduced Motion. With the “Reduce Motion” setting on, movements are replaced with short fades or removed.

Captions and audio descriptions do not apply: the app plays no video with sound.

Everyday tasks checked

These features cover the app's everyday tasks, end to end:

  • signing in and unlocking the app;
  • creating a patient and collecting their consent;
  • running a session with manual entry, through to the results;
  • reading the results, editing a retained value and finishing the session;
  • exporting the PDF or sending the results to the patient in the FramIQ app;
  • creating an invoice and sending it;
  • viewing the session history, patient files and statistics.

Exceptions and alternatives

Captures: Bluetooth machine, video, photo, aero test

They rely on sight and on positioning the patient or the device: they cannot be operated with VoiceOver and their text stays at the standard size. Every measurement has a manual-entry equivalent: body measurements in the Measurements screen, joint angles with “Edit angles” (Angles tab), foot rotation with the Internal, Neutral or External choices of the cleat setup. Only the aero test has no equivalent: the Aero tab then gives an estimate calculated from the body measurements.

Touch signature for consent

Signing with a finger on the screen cannot be done with VoiceOver. Choose “Code by email”: the patient receives a 6-digit code, reads it out to you and you enter it in the app. The consent is recorded in their file just as with a signature. If the research agreement is offered in your practice, it can also be requested without a signature, with “Send by email”: the patient's answer arrives in their file.
